OK SB 1982 would ban pornography and require internet service providers to block it in Oklahoma.

Viewing, distributing, or producing pornography would become a felony crime punishable by fines up to $250,000.00 and/or 10-30 years imprisonment. The bill also allows any person to bring action against another who displays, produces, or distributes pornography for up to $10k. Trafficking of pornography is subject to 15-40 years in prison and up to $500k in fines.

This bill’s sponsor introduced a nearly identical bill in 2025. It did not pass.
