California passed the Digital Age Assurance Act (AB 1043) in 2025, which required internet-enabled devices to collect users’ age bracket (under 13, 13-26, 16-18, over 18) to share with mobile apps.
This bill would expand the law to require that the user’s age bracket be shared with websites.
