Age verification mandate for obscene material. Relevant features:

  • Age verification mechanisms allowed:
    • A commercially available database that is regularly used by businesses or governmental entities for the purpose of age and identity verification
    • Another commercially reasonable method of age and identity verification
  • Enforcement and penalties:
    • AG civil penalties: Up to $10,000 per violation
    • Individuals can report violations to the AG, and the bill requires the AG to set up an electronic reporting system, but individuals can't sue directly.
