Age verification mandate. Relevant features:
- Enforcement: civil fines
- Violators must be sent 45-day notice to fix issues
- If noncompliance continues, the state may file a civil action, with fines of up to $10,000 per violation
- Age verification mechanisms allowed:
- digital ID
- government ID
- transactional data
- Requires sites with less than 33.33% “material harmful to minors” to block access to that content if age verification indicates a user is a minor and provide a disclaimer to adult users before displaying the content.
